[생각] 구글 검색 (google search, ISKO)

올해는 초반부터 ISKO 컨퍼런스와 NKOS 워크숍에 낼 제안서를 준비하고 있다. 그러다가 문득 구글에 내 이름과 ISKO를 함께 검색해 보았다. 재미있었다. 옛날에 작성된 웹문서엔 주로 멀리서 진행되는 ISKO 소식을 스크랩하거나 관련 자료를 인용하는 내용이 있었다. 그런데 최근 문서에는 내가 직접 ISKO에 참여한 웹문서들이 검색되었다. :)

These days I am working with my colleagues to prepare proposals for several ISKO conferences and NKOS workshops. Then I suddenly searched Google with my name and ISKO. It was interesting to look at the web documents that were searched. Most of the old web documents contain ISKO news or related materials that have been scrapped from the web on my blog. However, recent web documents were directly related to the ISKO conference. :)

[생각] 대중교통 출근길 (public transportation)

오늘은 대중교통을 이용해 출근했다. 버스를 타고, 전철로 갈아 타고, 다시 버스를 탔다. 집에서부터 사무실까지 넉넉잡아 2시간쯤 걸린다. 어제밤에 비가 내렸는데 도로는 아직 젖어 있다. 오늘 아침에 나는 더 많이 걷고, 주위를 더 둘러볼 수 있었다.

I went to work on public transportation today. I took a bus, changed to a train, and took the bus again. It takes about 2 hours from home to office. It was raining last night, but the road is still wet. This morning I could walk more and look around more.

[생각] 어디서나 핸드폰 (cellphone everywhere!)

안국역에 내려 종로경찰서쪽 출구로 올라가고 있었다. 지하도 한 켠에 한 할아버지가 좌판을 벌여두고 있었다. '바늘 귀 뀁니다.' 이렇게 쓰인 팻말을 앞에 두고, 네모난 모양의 물건을 쌓아두고 계셨다. 그런데 손님이 별로 없어서인지, 핸드폰을 하고 있었다. 길에서든 집에서든 모두 핸드폰 화면을 보며 손가락을 놀린다. 나도 지금 그런가.

I got off at Anguk Station and was going up to the exit of Jongno Police Station. One elderly man stood with a stall in a corner of the underground passage. 'Automatic needle threading tool.' In front of these signs, he had stacked square shaped plastic objects. But he did not have many guests, so he was on his cell phone! Nowadays everyone is looking at the cell phone screen. I am also now using my cell phone on the bus.

[메모] FRBRoo 기반 공연예술 자료 모델링

FRBRoo를 바탕으로 공연예술 자료를 모델링함으로써 배운 점이 있다. FRBRoo의 개발과정 특성이기도 한데, 이 모형을 분석하다 보면 균형있는 시각을 갖도록 노력할 수 있게 된다.

FRBR에는 단행본 중심의 도서관 분야 관행이 담겨 있는데, AACR과 같은 목록규칙에 익숙해 지면 이 관행이 눈에 띄지 않는다.
